Train smart with drop-in access at F45 Vienna Landstraße or John Reed Fitness Praterstern, both offering high-intensity and freestyle zones ideal for race prep. A short tram ride away, CrossFit InnerCity Vienna hosts HYROX station workouts and open lifting platforms.

After crossing the finish line, fuel with a traditional Wiener schnitzel at Figlmüller or cozy up at Café Central for pastries and strong coffee. For healthier recovery bowls, try Bolero in the city centre or local macro-friendly cafés near the Messe area that serve protein pancakes and smoothies.

On-site athlete zones offer basic cooldown. For recovery beyond, visit Therme Wien (thermal spa) nearby for warm pools and sauna or use the park loops in the Prater for walking or stretching. Vienna is packed with wellness retreats—including cryo, physio, and massage services in the Inner District.

Vienna’s clean, efficient transit network makes race logistics simple. From the airport, take CAT to Wien Mitte, then switch to U2 (red line) to Messe-Prater station right outside the venue. A single ride costs approximately €2.80. Street trams and buses are reliable, and tickets can be bought via app, ticket machines, or onboard via contactless. For locals, cycling is also a solid race-week option with rental points throughout the city.

Travelers from EU/EEA, UK, US, Australia, Japan, and many others travel visa-free for up to 90 days under Schengen rules. Others should apply for a short-stay Schengen visa via the Austrian consulate in their country.

Vienna is moderately priced for Central European standards. Mid‑range hotels near the venue are around €100–160/night, while budget options or B&Bs fall in €50–80. Expect local dining (e.g., schnitzel or sausage stands) between €8–15, and café meals €15–25. Public transit is reliable (~€2.80 per ride), and many iconic cultural sites like parks, museums, and historic squares offer free or low-cost access.
