Emilie Dahmen discovered HYROX while volunteering at an event in Amsterdam as part of her studies. A free race entry became the starting point for the Dutch athlete’s move into the sport, drawing on experience in field hockey, tennis and triathlon training. Her breakthrough came at Barcelona’s 2025 Last Chance Qualifier, where victory earned her a place in the Elite 15 at the Chicago World Championships. In 2026, she earned bronze at the EMEA Championships in London in 58:55. She returned to the world stage in Stockholm in 2026, finishing seventh in Elite 15 women’s singles in 1:00:04.
