
Joanna Wietrzyk is an Australian HYROX E15 athlete, HYROX ANZ ambassador and one of the fastest women in the sport, becoming the first Australian female to qualify for the HYROX Elite 15 series and climbing as high as world no. 2 in the global rankings.
A former national-level tennis and state netball player who discovered HYROX while coaching at F45 in Melbourne, she went from her first race to a sub-61 Pro Women’s time in Brisbane within a few months, stacking wins across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth and then stepping onto the Elite 15 stage with a podium in Amsterdam and a breakout Major victory in Hong Kong under the one-hour mark.
In the 2024–26 seasons she has added an Elite 15 win in Hamburg in 58:22 and a 59:17 silver at the HYROX World Championships in Chicago, plus a Women’s Pro Doubles world record of 54:24 with Jess Pettrow and a top-10 all-time Mixed Doubles mark with Hunter McIntyre, while building a profile as a content creator, brand ambassador and coach running HYROX masterclasses and education sessions around Australia
