Lauren Weeks is widely regarded as the most decorated athlete in HYROX history, with three world titles and a dominant record across Majors and World Championships. The benchmark. The most decorated name in HYROX. And in Phoenix, she’s racing with that familiar “unfinished business” look. Lauren didn’t arrive here by scraping in — she’s an AUTO qualifier, a guaranteed presence whenever the sport is at its biggest. What makes this weekend interesting is the context: she’s been close in other Majors this season, trading punches at the front, but the win hasn’t always landed. Melbourne was another tight one, finishing 2nd in 58:48 behind Joanna.  

Phoenix storyline: the GOAT hunting momentum. If Lauren controls the early pace and keeps stations clean, she can suffocate a field. But if this turns into a late-race sprint after Wall Balls, she’ll need to snap the recent run of “nearly” and remind everyone why the sport still measures itself against her. Phoenix is a "local" race for Lauren who lives in Las Vegas and that combine with a home turf advantage, maybe Phoenix is her race to win!
