Emilio Aguayo Muñoz is a Spanish HYROX athlete with an international triathlon background. His endurance career includes victory at IRONMAN Wisconsin in 2019, before he moved into racing that combines running with loaded functional exercises.
Aguayo Muñoz competed in the Elite 15 Men field at the 2025 HYROX Hamburg Major, finishing 14th in 57:44. His transition to HYROX brings experience of swimming, cycling and long-distance running to a format that adds sled work, carries, lunges and other strength-endurance stations.
