Public transport guide

Public transport in Guadalajara is affordable and improving, but it’s not always the most reliable compared to taxis or ride-share. Athletes will find Uber and official taxis to be the most convenient way to move around, especially when carrying gear or heading to the venue.

Airport → City: Taxis and Uber are the most reliable (30–40 min). Shuttle buses are available but slower.
City Transport: Metro light rail (cheap, ~€0.60) plus buses and ride-share options. For athletes, Uber is the easiest.
Tips: Stick with official taxis or Uber for safety and speed.
