HYROX Heerenveen 2027

Sportstad Heerenveen is an option to investigate for training while you are in town. Its fitness centre lists a Crossbox space, group classes and HYROX sessions.

Check visitor access, class bookings and equipment availability directly before making plans.

• ’t Gerecht, Heerenveen: a boutique hotel and Grand Café at Gemeenteplein 33, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. An option for meals with your race crew.
• Grand Café 1834, Oranjewoud: located at Parkhotel Tjaarda, with lunch and dinner service. Useful to consider if you stay in Oranjewoud or visit the surrounding woodland.
• Museum Belvédère café: combine a museum visit with coffee, cake or lunch in a waterside setting.

Check menus, dietary options and opening times before your visit. For race morning, confirm breakfast arrangements against your start time.

For a quieter part of the weekend, consider a gentle walk in Oranjewoud or a visit to Museum Belvédère and its café.

Parkhotel Tjaarda lists a sauna, fitness room and bookable wellness treatments. Check access conditions and appointment availability directly. These are local leisure options, rather than event-provided recovery services.

Use Heerenveen station as your starting point when planning rail travel to the town. Check the NS journey planner for your actual travel dates, including connections and engineering work.

The final journey from the station or your hotel to the race depends on the venue announcement. Check the first and last services against your start time before relying on public transport.

Entry requirements depend on your nationality and circumstances. Check official NetherlandsWorldwide guidance before booking.

For eligible visa-exempt visitors from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland, short visits are generally limited to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen area. Travellers requiring a visa must follow its validity and permitted stay. Recheck the applicable requirements before travelling in 2027.

Budget for race entry, accommodation, travel to Heerenveen, local transport and meals. Ticket prices and race-week hotel rates cannot yet be confirmed for this event.

Compare accommodation on total cost, including breakfast, cancellation terms and travel to the venue. A cheaper room may offer less value if it requires additional transfers. Keep bookings flexible until the dates and location are confirmed.
