Singapore’s food scene is legendary, offering HYROX athletes both affordable fuel and gourmet indulgence. Just a short walk or MRT ride from the National Stadium, Old Airport Road Hawker Centre is a must-visit—grab a post-race Hainanese chicken rice or laksa for under $5. For clean eating, head to The Social Space (Bugis) or Afterglow by Anglow (Chinatown) for plant-based and gluten-free dishes in stylish settings.

Need protein? Try Grain Traders at Raffles Place for customizable bowls packed with healthy carbs and lean meats. And don’t leave without sampling a fresh coconut juice or kaya toast from Ya Kun Kaya Toast—a true Singaporean classic. From hawker gems to boutique cafés, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

Recovery in Singapore blends modern luxury with innovative wellness experiences, perfect for athletes tackling the intense heat and humidity of a tropical racecation. Near the National Stadium in Kallang, athletes can find several top-tier recovery centers designed to help ease muscle fatigue and boost post-race rejuvenation.

One standout is The Float @ Marina Bay, a state-of-the-art flotation therapy center offering sensory deprivation tanks that promote deep relaxation and muscle recovery by reducing stress and inflammation. For a more traditional approach, Ark Wellness Spa near the city center provides expert sports massages, hydrotherapy pools, and saunas, all tailored for athletes’ needs.

If you want a uniquely Singaporean wellness experience, try a visit to the Yunomori Onsen & Spa, which combines Japanese hot spring bathing with massage therapy, creating a serene environment to soothe tired muscles and calm the mind. The spa is easily accessible via MRT from the venue and offers a refreshing contrast to the city’s tropical climate.

Many upscale hotels in the Marina Bay and Orchard Road areas also feature full-service spas and fitness recovery suites, including cryotherapy and infrared saunas, perfect for maintaining peak condition during multi-day competition.

With excellent transport links and a variety of recovery options blending science and tradition, Singapore supports HYROX athletes in bouncing back strong for every stage of their race journey.

Singapore is a clean, modern, and efficient city—but it comes with high costs. Hotels near the city center or Suntec Convention Centre typically range from $150–250 USD per night. Dining spans extremes—hawker centers offer world-class meals for $5–10, while restaurants and bars can exceed $50 easily. Public transport is excellent and cheap, and many attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay waterfront are free to enjoy. Despite budget food options, accommodation and entertainment costs push Singapore into the higher end of the HYROX affordability spectrum.
