Where to stay for HYROX Cairo

For a stay focused on racing, look around New Cairo's Fifth Settlement or the eastern side of Nasr City, with road access to Egypt's International Exhibition Center on El-Moshir Tantawy Axis. These areas let you avoid travelling from downtown on race morning. Plan a taxi, ride-hailing trip or hotel-arranged car to Hall 4.

For sightseeing, cafés and more time in central Cairo, consider downtown around Tahrir Square. This puts the Egyptian Museum and central streets within easier reach, but adds a cross-city journey to the venue. Choose it if exploring Cairo is a substantial part of your trip, and check the transfer with your hotel before booking.

Prefer downtown Cairo?

Look around Tahrir Square for central sightseeing, cafés and the Egyptian Museum. This is a different base from New Cairo: allow for a road transfer to the exhibition centre.

Taxi and ride-hailing services, including Uber and Careem, are listed by another EIEC exhibition organiser as ways to reach the venue. Do not confuse EIEC on El-Moshir Tantawy Axis with the older Cairo International Convention Centre / fairgrounds near Cairo Stadium.
