George Martindale finished eighth overall in the Pro Men's race at the 2026 World Championships in Stockholm, clocking 56:43. The English athlete set his Pro best of 55:25 for fifth in Warsaw in April 2026, where he also finished second in Pro Men's Doubles with Marc Dean in 51:04. His other singles results include sixth in Copenhagen and a top-ten finish in Cardiff. Martindale ran 55:48 in the Bordeaux Pro race later in 2026, while his 54:29 at the EMEA Championships in London came in the lighter-weight open division.
