Pelayo Menéndez Fernández brings a deep endurance background to the HYROX race floor. The Spanish athlete competed internationally in age-group duathlon before turning his attention to hybrid racing, and now also coaches through PELE Performance.
His results span singles and doubles at the highest level: fourth in the Elite 15 race at the 2024 World Championships in Nice, then a 48:31 Pro Doubles win with Rich Ryan in Miami in 2025. The partnership added World Championship bronze in Stockholm in 2026, finishing the Elite 15 Men’s Doubles race in 49:34.
